The total salary mentioned below will also include additional allowances determined by the Government of India from time to time. However, Agniveers will not receive DA (Dearness Allowance) or MSP (Military Service Pay) as their salary is provided as a comprehensive package.
Agniveers will receive an attractive monthly package customized to their requirements, which includes risk and hardship allowances applicable to all three services.After completing four years of service, Agniveers will receive a one-time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package. This package will consist of their contributions along with accumulated interest, as well as a matching contribution from the Government. - Life Insurance Cover: Agniveers are provided with a non-contributory Life Insurance Cover of Rs. 48 Lakh.
- Ex Gratia for Death: In the unfortunate event of a death attributable to service, the next of kin receive an additional Ex Gratia amount of Rs. 44 Lakh.
- Disability Compensation: Agniveers who experience disabilities due to service receive disability compensation, ranging from Rs. 15 Lakh to Rs. 44 Lakh, based on the extent of disability.
- Leave Entitlement: Agniveers are entitled to up to 30 days of leave per year.
- Medical and Canteen Facilities: Agniveers have access to medical facilities and canteen facilities.
- Reservation: Agniveers receive a 10% reservation in Assam Rifles, CAPFs, Coast Guard, and Defense PSU.
