Agniveer Airforce Musician Recruitment Overview
The Indian Air Force seeks young candidates with musical talent and consistent academic records. It offers a variety of career pathways, including the Agniveer Vayu and STAR exams. Agniveer Airforce Musician Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria include a minimum of a Matriculation or 10th grade with a minimum pass mark from a Government school or board, Grade 5 or higher in one instrument, and a Music Experience Certificate from reputed institutions. The certificate must prove that the candidate has proficiency in playing one instrument. It must also demonstrate that the candidate has a good understanding of musical theory and composition. The candidate must also be able to read and write staff notation in Hindustani or Carnatic classical music.
Moreover, the candidates should have normal hearing and should be able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters on each ear separately. The candidates should also have healthy gums and a set of teeth with a minimum number of 14 points. The candidates must be aware of the fact that permanent body tattoos are not allowed. Moreover, the candidates should not smoke or have any alcohol in their system at the time of the application.
Candidates who meet the academic criteria will be asked to take a written exam. This exam will test the candidates’ theoretical knowledge and their ability to adapt to an Indian Air Force lifestyle. The successful candidates will then undergo a physical fitness test and a medical examination. The final step is the training period, which lasts up to 12 weeks.

Agniveer Airforce Musician Physical Fitness Test
To apply for the upcoming rally, the candidates must fulfill the mandatory eligibility criteria set by the Indian Air Force. They should be unmarried and should have a 10th-standard qualification from a recognized board and school. The candidates are also required to complete the PFT and the medical examinations. The physical Fitness Test consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes (For Male Candidates) and a 1.6 KM run to be completed within 8 minutes (For Female Candidates). They must also do 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats form (Male) & 10 sit-ups and 15 squats (Female) within the same time frame.
Agniveer Airforce Musician Salary and Benefits
The pay scale for the position of a musician is Rs 30,000 per month. This package includes a yearly increment and other benefits. In addition, the candidate will be eligible for risk and hardship allowances, clothing and accommodation allowances, travel allowances, and rations. The candidate will be able to access medical and accident benefits as well. Moreover, they will also be eligible for risk and hardship allowances, if applicable.
They will be paid for their service in the Indian Airforce for four years, with a fixed annual increment. After 4 Years as an Agniveer in the Indian Airforce – Rs 11.71 Lakh as Seva Nidhi Package and Skill Gained Certificate also provided. After 4 years as Agniveer, up to 25% will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the Indian Airforce.

Agniveer Airforce Musician Working Experience
The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the English written test, proficiency test in playing musical instruments, physical fitness test, and adaptability test. The authorities will publish the Provisional Selection List on the same day at the rally venue and also on the CASB portal.
The Indian Air Force has recently released a recruitment drive for the musicians in its Agniveer Vayu field. The recruitment rallies for the same will be conducted from July 3rd to 12th at the Air Force Stations at Kanpur and Bengaluru. Both male and female candidates from the eligible districts of the country can apply for this recruitment drive.

Agniveer Airforce Musician Selection Process
